The Salida Steelers Cheerleaders are the official cheer representatives of the Salida Steelers Youth Football organization. The Salida Steelers Cheerleaders focus on providing girls and boys with an opportunity to cheerlead in an adult supervised, organized and safety-oriented manner.

Salida Steelers Cheerleaders offer three cheer program levels:

Pee Wee: 3rd & 4th Grade
Junior Varsity: 5th Grade
Varsity: 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th Grade

Cheerleaders have the opportunity to cheer at football games that are played on Saturdays beginning late August, and are played in Modesto, Turlock, Denair, Atwater, Merced, La Grande and Los Banos. In addition, the Cheerleaders attend cheer camp and may compete at cheer competitions.
